In the legends of Homeros it is stated that the gods of Olympus were nourished with Ambrosia and Neddards. Ambrosia which means immortality was a kind of honey composed of numerous. According to the mythology the gods nourished with ambrosia were invulnerable. Furthermore it is stated that when this magical honey is eaten by man it gives youth, happiness and immortality.
